I love my hair!!! I'm a military spouse that has to find new stylist every few years and I am so pleased to say that he was the third one I tried after relocating here and I FINALLY found someone that knows how to please the client and make them feel special! I do not have to search any longer! I found my stylist and colorist! He has over 50 clients that have been with him for more than ten years! That means something and should tell you what a fabulous talent he has! He books months out so hurry!

Got a great new hair cut! Lee was friendly and very helpful. Helped me find a hair style that is both super cute and is easy for me to care for. I'm a low fuss kinda gal, and it was great to find someone who finally both understood that and worked with me on it!

I found a great place, clean,.professional. Lee is very kind. I had lost my hair due to.chemo. Now that its growin back he is a saving.grace helping me with it.

I like coming here because it's not dark and loud. It's peaceful and everyone is very friendly. Lee is the BEST hair colorist in the county and is always learning the newest haircutting techniques. Further, he is very giving and will "fit you in" if your bangs need trimmed.

After spending lots of money and time at so many salons, I had given up. Then I found Lee and Friends. Lee is such a wonderful stylist. He is not only experienced, but he listens to what YOU want. I am so pleased with his work, I will be going back to him from now on.

Lee is an exceptional hair stylist. I have been using Lee for about a year, and I am very pleased. The salon atmosphere is so relaxing, and Lee makes you feel so comfortable. It is truly a spa experience. I would highly recommend his services.

Lee has been my hairstylist for about 7 years. I first began using him when he cut my long, straight, straggly hair that I donated to Locks of Love. He is superb with both cut and hair color and always professional. And - he gives an awesome head massage when he washes your hair! I get many compliments on my cute hair and have never left his shop disappointed. He is definetely the greatest hairstylist!

My daughter and I have been going to Hair By Lee for a few years now. The first time we met Lee is when we donated our hair to Locks of Love. He cut our hair and colored mine. It was a great experience. His shop is relaxing and comfortable. Lee is a great stylist and haircolorist. We enjoy getting our hair done and actually look forward to our appointments.

Lee has been my hairdresser for almost 11 years now. I have followed him to four different salons over the years because I will NOT let anyone else cut/style my hair. He's the best! He has given me several different cuts, color/highlights, perms.... and I have never been unhappy with the end result. I have grown my hair for donation twice and he always makes it a pleasurable experience.

Lee began cutting my hair about 10 years ago when I stumbled upon him at his location on SR 220. I was tired of jumpng from hairstylist to hairstylist. I was tired of asking for a certain cut or trim and walking out with my hair not the way and shorter than I wanted. So, I must say, once is all it took for me to return to Lee a second time. After the third visit without any issues...I knew I had found the one to cut and style my hair.



I have trusted Lee and his opinions with many hairstyles. I can walk into his salon and say...I am not sure what I want but I want something different. We look through a few pictures, talk about it, and then just start cutting and styling. I have gone from extremely long hair to short hair with a number of locks of love donations. He has not only perfectly highlighted by hair, but also put a beautiful spiral perm in. I have to say...the spiral perm was a project. Lee set a whole day aside for just me, with the exception of a few colorings he could fit in. And...8 hours later I had a perfect spiral perm that actually lasted longer than the average. The 8 hours was to account for the thick, middle of the back long hair he had to roll in curlers. Lee also did my hair for my wedding.



Lee is dependable in that he will fit you in whenever he can, especially if it is last minute. I recently moved to Maryland and quite frequently make trips to Florida. This is when I schedule my hair appointments. I told him this last time that I had a confession to make...I went to another hair dresser in Maryland. The first time in 10 years! Let's just say, Lee was fixing the mistake.



Lee is the type of hair dresser where if you find a good one, you don't want go anywhere else.

I have been going to Lee for the past two years and have never been disappointed. Hair is a big deal to me and it is always hard to find a new hair stylist when you move. I saw this women with her son at a park one day and I loved how natural her highlights looked. I asked her where she gets her hair done and I've been going to see Lee ever since. I tend to change my hair styles and color often and Lee always gets what I want done right. It is very reassuring that he is a board certified hair colorist. The shop is usually very relaxing and peaceful for me and I look forward to the head massages when my hair is shampooed.

I enjoy visiting this salon every 5 weeks. Lee is professional, retired Navy, and a grandfather. The salon is clean and attractive, very peaceful. My hair color is just right for me. Lee is known about town as the guy who is always volunteering, a community service kind of guy.

I tried many hairdressers in the Orange Park and Jacksonville area, and it was like I found a treasure when I discovered Lee. He has cut and colored my hair for many years, and I have always been extremely happy with his expertise.



Lee listens to his clients wishes.If I want to change my hairstyle, either I bring in a picture or Lee will suggest a haircut that flatters my facial features and works with my hair texture.



I love how Lee works with hair color. He gets it perfect every time. He can be conservative with color or he is willing to be adventurous. Whatever suits one's mood! I believe that it speaks to Lee's ability when I receive many compliments about my haircuts and the color. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants a great haircut and/or color.

Everything the other reviewers have said is true. Lee is a great stylist, willing to work with you, even when you don't quite know what you want. I've been able to do Locks of Love donations a few times with him, which is always fun. And he is being VERY patient with me as I try to figure out what to do with my hair now that it has thinned significantly. I always receive compliments on my hair after he has gotten ahold of it. =)

After growing my hair for 10 years, yes, 10 years, I finally found the courage to cut and donate it. Lee Goodnight, by Hair by Lee was highly recommended by another hair stylist. Not only is he a FANTASTIC stylist, but he does his work with heart. He works closely with Locks of Love, and even holds his own event for hair donation every year. He is who I decided I could trust my hair too. After cutting around 2 feet off for donation, he continued to snip and clip until the job was done. My gosh it turned out beautiful! I am ever so happy with my cut, and because he did such a wonderful job, the experience wasn't frightful at all. My 10 year old even says the cut makes me look younger! Yeah for me! Oh and here's a little hint...if you are donating to locks of love (10 inches or more), your cut is free! Yes, free! But hey now...please be sure to tip! I'm sure any amount is appreciated!

When I moved to Orange Park, I hated the fact that I had to find a new hairdresser. I popped into several local establishments to gather information and impressions, and quickly decided on Hair By Lee because there were no suffocating fumes of any kind, and Lee Goodnight was so friendly. The place just seemed homey and comfortable.



Two years later, I'm still relying on Lee to keep my hair looking good. I get lots of compliments on the style he suggested to me, and I love my "Florida" highlights, too. (That's what I call them, anyway, since I had darker hair when I lived further north!)



Lee is a warm, friendly guy, and he really seems to care about the quality of his work. I would recommend him to anyone.

I moved here 3 years ago, leaving behind my hair dresser of 12 years. I hopped from salon to salon for several months trying to find the right stylist...and then I found out about Lee Goodnight's salon. I have been a client now for over a year. I love every cut and recently tried color and loved it (so natural); he takes the time to consult with you before every appointment and the results are beyond expectation. Not only have I found a great hair stylist, but I have also found a friend and role model. His involvement in the community is one more thing that makes Hair by Lee stand out from all other salons. I have fairly long hair and have decided to let it grow out more so I can make a donation to Locks of Love. I look forward to each visit. The salon is so comfortable, the conversation is wonderful and the results are fantastic.

I met Lee several months ago at the Orange Park Malls Locks for Love event. I wanted to donate my long hair, but was a little nervous! He took one look and said "how about in another month?" I took his card and in a month he cut 6 ponies out of my hair! This was back in August and I have gone to him ever since. It is hard to find a great hairdresser that you can trust with your hair, and that has become a good friend. So many salons now a days its "in & out" and they dont really care if you ever return. When people ask where I go - I lead them right to Lee.
