I cannot thanks the ladies at Paradise Bridal enough for saving my wedding day. I got a dress from another shop that was altered incorrectly. One week before, the shop closed, so I had to go elsewhere. Tiffany took my dress and did an emergency session with me. I was so relieved to get help. And the dress was perfect. Such great people and helpful.

FANTASTIC experience !
It was my 4th bridal store to visit and blew the others away!
I thought I knew what style I wanted and Tiffany worked with me, she was so patient, and asked me questions about each dress to get a better idea what I loved what I didn't, in the end she pulled a dress I would never have thought of and I fell in love !
She was outstanding

Her boutique is fabulous and you really get star treatment !

Thanks again for everything!

Brought my niece here for her dress. The women here really know how to take care of her. She found the right dress and needed very little alterations. We also purchased her accessories here. I would tell every bride to be to go here!

The dress selection here is by far at least 50% lower than the big bridal stores. The girls here are amazing and love their work. They made my special day amazing and I could not have done it without them.

My sister went here for her dress and the brides maids. She looked so beautiful. They made the whole experience like a fairy tale princess for her. They treated her like their own daughter or mother. Excellent unique selection.

Excellent selection of vintage and new gowns. The prices were fifty percent less than the major bridal stores. I had so much fun with this. Excw

STAY AWAY!!! NIGHTMARE!!!!

This place was terrible and made my bridal experience so disappointing. I am spending a lot of money to settle on a dress that isn't what I really wanted or ordered for my wedding day. There was an error with the length of the dress ordered. Despite my file indicating I am an exact sample length and the store confirming with the manufacturer on this before even placing the order, I received a dress that was too long and would need a great deal of alterations. They blamed the manufacturer on the mistake. Paradise tried to remedy this by telling me it "wasn't their fault" and that I would have to pay over $200 to hem the scalloped lace and add crinoline to shorten the dress. It certainly isn't my fault. As a business, shouldn't they check to make sure the correct dresses are ordered and arrive as they should? It seems like simple order inventory to me. Finally after telling them I would go elsewhere to get the work done and not give them more business, the manager (Cherise) said the store would eat the alterations costs for the length. When I came back for my second fitting, the dress shape had been dramatically changed as a result of the necessary addition of crinoline to the bottom. I went from absolutely loving the light, airy, and organic feel of my lace dress, to feeling like I was wearing this giant puffy bell at the bottom. Even though the dress is still beautiful, no bride wants to feel uncomfortable. I feel I am settling on the wedding dress and it isn't what I ordered or paid a lot of money for. The store tried to tell us a second time that we were responsible for paying for the alterations to the length. The receptionist questioned us in great deal as to which manager we spoke with before she would get someone for us to speak with. Cherise finally came out and tried to give us the run around again, saying now the work was done and wouldn't release the dress to us. I was nearly in tears out of frustration. Finally, we got it squared away because Donna also happened to overhead the situation.Everyone I have spoken to says this is very standard practice of Paradise Bridal. They try and force you to pay for things that we unnecessary or a mistake on their end. When I was there, a girl was crying because her wedding dress came in a size 6, not 16 like she ordered, and they were telling her there might not be enough time to order a new one. You're best bet is to skip the headache and disappointment and head to the better bridal salons on the island. My bridesmaid gowns came from Bridal Suite of Centereach and they were absolutely wonderful to work with!!!

I had to say after reading the reviews I was not sure about going to Paradise but was pleasantly surprised. My friend went there and recommended Kathy as a consultant. She was both professional and knowledgeable plus she was so sweet and patient. She was with me through the whole process. She helped with our bridesmaids dresses too! I would highly recommend Paradise Bridals, I had a great experience. My advice ask for Kathy!

Terrible service

This place has the worst customer service. They are unprofessional and should a problem arise they are NOT going to do the right thing so just avoid this place at all cost!

After visiting several Bridal Shops and doing the whole Kleinfelds shopping experience (waste of time very over priced) I was refereed to Paradise by a coworker who had purchased her gown from there. In June we visited Paradise on the quest for the perfect dress

We were greeted by Donna, who immediately knew what type of dress I was interested in after a brief conversation. After trying on several gowns I fell in LOVE with one that she choose, an Allure and way below my original price point. The gown was ordered in June!

August and it is time to do the Bridesmaids, ugh! Wish there was one dress that everyone loved, not happening. So after advice from Paradise I decided to let the women choose there individual gown and all had to be in same color Bill Levkoff, Primrose. Now comes the sizing, 2 of my attendants did have to pay an additional fee because of there size $50.00 and that seemed a bit high.

Fast forward to yesterday 1/29 and I had my first fitting. Dress did come in a little small and was tight. My seamstress Maria, who is a sweetheart, had me take the gown off and come back in an hour so that she could release it to fit. After an hour we returned and had to wait a bit because there was already another fitting in session. When it was time for me once again to try my gown on, PERFECT all I require is a hem, price seems a bit high $175.00.

I did try to schedule my bridesmaids fittings last night but they advised that it was to soon and will do a fitting them until 4 weeks before before the wedding which does make it a little difficult since 2 of my attendants are form out of town.

Review: Would Highly recommend

I did read some of the other post and being in retail myself I realize that you cannot make everyone happy all of the time, also people tend to only review when they are unhappy with

Awful alteration dept & Liars!

I went to paradise bridal without looking at their reviews first, i found the dress as soon as i walked in, they said i needed to buy it off the rack bc there wasnt enough time so i did...then i had my first fitting and then a month before my wedding my second fitting they called me 2hrs prior to cancel it bc overbooking so i told them to cancel the two appts at the same time for my mother n in law , they said its diff for brides n they were so backed up. So i went in to see my mothers fitting n not one bride was there!! The lady behind desk said she doesnt know why they cancelled it. So i asked to see my dress n they finally brought it out an hour later and not one thing was done within the last month, it needed a ton of work and nothing was done!! So i said im bringing it to somewhere else. Well they begged n said they would have it done for me , the day before my wedding i picked it up, made them fix some things then brought it home n saw that half the train of lace wasnt attached to the dress. It was awful so i brought it all the way bak and the seamstress screamed in my face n wouldnt fix it, after waiting 2hrs she fixed it .i will nevrr ever step foot in that place ever again...plus they stole two cards out of grooms tuxedo all cash that we left in there on accident.

Paradise Bridal is a NIGHTMARE...

Paradise Bridal is a NIGHTMARE! Paradise Bridal is a horrible place to shop. Their customer "service" is horrendous, they lie and, once they get your money, couldn't care less about helping you. They keep you on hold and everyone tells you a different story. Patty, my bridal "consultant" told me my dress would be in on June 12. When it wasn't in until June 27, after I went down to the shop and made a scene on June 25, she insisted that was the ship date not the delivery date, meanwhile they told me on the phone on June 26 that the dress was being overnighted from the factory. I sat with two other brides, after my dress was over 2 weeks late. One bride's dress was hacked up and her wedding was the next day. She was there for 2 hours. The second was there to pick up a dress for her destination wedding, flying out the next day, and they had her scheduled for an alteration appointment. Her dress wasn't ready!! They didn't even call me to tell me the bridesmaid dresses were in. When I called them, they told me they only had two in, then they said they didn't call me because my number was disconnected (which it was not). It turns out they wrote the wrong phone number on the file! They did have numbers for all the bridesmaids, and my phone number was correct on their copy of my receipt. Did they bother calling even one of them or looking on the receipt? Of course not! Also keep in mind you can't pick up dresses on Saturdays.....What shop has a policy like this?!?!? AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST!

Have you wondered why the wall...

Have you wondered why the wall on their facebook page is disabled and no way of commenting! Could it be because they don't want the reality of their horrible business manors to be revealed?! I'm sure you can figure it out on your own!

I must agree with all the negative reviews here, as my fiance is currently going through hell with these people. I wish I had done my homework of researching these unprofessional, heartless people before she dashing out money to them.

Our wedding is only two weeks away and still no dress or RESPOND!!!

From day one, she had told them that on March 15 she has shooting, and on March 1 they tell her that "Oh, you better change that date, as your dress won't be here by then!". How would you feel if that was you?!?!?

I just hope to G-d for their own sake, they would deliver the right dress, right size, right alteration AT THE RIGHT TIME, or else I will make sure to do something that they will be forced to close their doors for EVER. Thanks to the power of the INTERNET!!!

Perhaps, they could close their facebook wall, but, they won't be able to shut down every news agency in New York, every Blog and websites with reviews.

If (which I highly doubt it) the owners/managers of Paradise Bridal are reading these comments, they better get their acts together and either do business right or shut their doors closed for ever.

This is not a threat, this IS A PROMISE, and a man never breaks his promise. This I assure you.

I will see you guys shortly at your horror store.

Stay tuned, as I will keep you posted on the progress.
