Brian Anderson, MD, MSCE, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. He practicies as a pulmonary and critical care physician, and serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Founders 9 Medical ICU at HUP, thePhysician Lead of the HUP Critical Care Clinical Effectiveness Team, and Co-Chair of the UPHS Critical Care CLABSI Taskforce. His research and qualilty improvement work focuses on improving delirium recognition and management, improvingsepsis care, reducing hospital acquired infections, building care pathways and guidelines, and improving patient access and throughput.
