Dishonest/disrespectful. 3/27/13: Sun Control Landscapes installed/fertilized 2 Ash trees (among other things) at my home. Late-May: nothing more than bare, brittle branches (despite additional watering). I asked that they be replaced. Was told, "They just need a little fertilizer and some time." When I asked about warranty period, I was told the trees would be fine...this is normal, not to worry. Each time I complained, they fertilized again ($50 a pop!) and assured me the trees just need fertilizer and "a little more time." Now, (3 yrs later), the branches remain bare and brittle. Despite offers to pay a portion of cost, SCL refuses to replace a dead tree, saying they are not responsible after the warranty period, though I specifically asked for replacement prior to the end of the warranty period. I tried to work this out directly, and was told to go elsewhere for service. I would not recommend Sun Control Landscapes to anyone who wishes to be treated with honesty or respect.
