RMC Pacific Materials, formerly Lone Star Industries, was formed on December 31, 1987 as a California general partnership. The company has operated its cement manufacturing facility in Davenport Calif., since 1987. It s ready mix concrete operations provide geographic coverage from Salinas to Sacramento, Calif., as well as Burlingame, Berkeley, Fairfield and Fremont, Calif. RMC has 20 concrete plants and a delivery fleet of more than 250 vehicles. Materials from the various facilities are used in a variety of construction applications, from the building of roads to the manufacturing of concrete roof tiles. From its headquarters in Pleasanton, Calif., RMC Pacific Materials supplies construction materials throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and along the Interstate 80 corridor to Sacramento, Calif.
