Since 1970, Douglas Aquatics, Inc. has specialized in residential and commercial inground swimming pool and spa construction, commercial pool operations, residential and commercial pool repairs and renovations, and weekly route maintenance. We are one of the largest swimming pool contractors and management firms in Virginia; we have built over 1,200 swimming pools since our founding in 1970. As a builder of both residential and commercial swimming pools, we strive to design and construct award winning pools and spas for our customers through application of new and innovative technology and equipment. Besides having the ability to construct new facilities, we are the only construction firm in the area that commercially manages recreation swimming centers; employing over 600 lifeguards to open the facilities in the spring, maintain the facilities during the operational season, and to close and winterize the facilities at the conclusion of the season. In addition to construction and Commercial Pool Operations, we also perform complete repairs for all types of pools with our APSP Certified technical repair staff, with seasonal weekly residential pool maintenance being provided by our trained and experienced Route Maintenance Technicians.
