I want to warn consumers about billing practices of this Med Group. The doctors I have dealt with are fantastic, it is the billing and insurance staff that I have a problem with. I made an appt at the Moreno Valley office of this clinic because it appeared my son had broken his arm. My insurance has an accidental injury clause where we don't have to pay a deductible or co-pay if the injury was accidental and the patient is seen in a dr office within 72 hours. When my husband arrived with my son, the clinic said they required $300 up front for the visit. After I called the insurance co & verified the coverage, I called "T" and she said it was the clinic's policy to collect regardless of the injury coverage. Twice I have experience with this clinic where they failed to bill accidental injuries correctly. If you don't owe them any $ because it has been collected up front, there is no incentive for them to bill correctly. Beware. We walked out & will never go to this clinic again.
