excellent rebuilt engine i bought from these folks. I got a chevy big block 454 and they rebuilt it with all the trimmings and worked with me so I can afford it.

do not buy an engine from this company. I'm on my 2ed 2zz-ge the first one had low compression and was missfireing, now I have a new engine from there warranty and its just as bad,this one only has low compression in one cylinder but has rod knocking bad. its obvious they don't inspect or do anything other than clean the outside of these engines. Not sure how I'm going to deal with these now seeing as my original warranty continues with the new engine. probably have to sue them

I would not even give this a star. My car was slipping out of gear. Knowing I had a just 6-mo warranty I had 2 more months left on warranty. I instantly had an issue. They would not even hear it. They said I had to prove it and pay to get a diagnostic..so I took it to the dealership to get it confirmed it was "their" issue. It was a few.."I will have to call you back," (s) and "I will have to see if I can do that, I will have to call you back." ???? They would not call me back. I am still trying to get them to honor their warranty. They will try to get out of upholding their warranties. So the bottom line is "Under Warranty" means nothing. Try a more honorable company that prides themselves on quality not just robbing your wallet. Don't fall for it.

I purchased a Honda D16A from the Sacramento warehouse to replace my overheated D16Z6.The engine runs fine and seems healthy. The swap out went easy enough.The only problem I had was a mistake made by the office personnel in giving me a price on my engine. They quoted me a price that was $225 less than what I was told once I went to pick the engine up. Fortunately the Saturday manager was a fair guy and asked me to split the difference. I double checked pricing the next week and found the young lady I had been speaking with assumed I wanted a lesser engine?! And had given me a price for a 1.5 liter engine when I had ONLY asked for a D16Z6 (1.6 liter). In trying to explain all this to another gentleman in their Sacramento office, I must have offended him with my query on the price discrepancy and he got a bit belligerent with me before I decided to end the conversation.Bottom line MAKE SURE OF THE PRICING ON THE ITEM YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!
