We have eaten here several time. The food and service never disappoint. Hollie is a great server/bartender!

Good little pub to hang out at in old town Sacramento. Have a drink or two and walk around old Sacramento.

Maybe it was bad timing, or just a schlub working the grill. I am only writing this to warn people that this quaint little "Irish" bar in old Sacramento is just that, A BAR. Do not go there to eat. It was not busy at all when we arrived and ordered a chicken strip meal and a hamburger, to be cooked WELL DONE. The food was served and my wife took two bites of her chicken while I was eating my side salad, which was just lettuce and a few pieces of carrot. She spit her chicken out and we examined the piece she was eating which was extremely raw. I brought it back to the grill and the "chef" seemed a little angy that the food was returned. Um, I think I could have sued for this, but I don't do that. I then decided to check out my burger. Yep, it was red and bloody. The problem I had was not that the food was undercooked, since mistakes happen, but that they did not care if we were satisfied. Just to let you know, the date I visited was July 31, 2009. Go eat somewhere else.
