I see Dr Granberg and he is awesome! Before coming here I dealt with pain for years and the injections have managed it to the point my entire life is not geared around pain. I have neck problems and lower back/hip issues.. When I was laid off, Dr Grandberg was gracious enough to work out some office visits I could afford. The staff is great and friendly I really like Susan, the nurse practitioner. Everyone there is very friendly and professional.
Yes, sometimes there is a long wait to get to your injection but I think having a good doctor is worth the wait. Sometimes a patient might need extra time to talk which puts them behind, but they sit and listen and dont rush you. That's worth a lot in this day and age.
The only thing I would ask to change is, PLEASE get more comfortable seating in the waiting room as we are all there because we hurt, so comfortable chairs area must!
Highly Recommend!

The branch M&M South office; . I know that for a several sessions.....went in hurting and barely able to function after 2 back fusions in less than 4 yrs. they have been nothing less than spectacular in my rehab; follow-up; temporary pain relief; whatever you want to call this part of my health and LIFE. Dr. Coleman is a sharp character in his field of expertise. Recommended by my orthopedic surgeon; name well known in health field circles. The Dr., or the head nurse. I have NOT had any issues. None, nadda, nothing but the best care. From medical info to injections, they are kind, professionals, caring and go the extra lengths for myself and others while waiting in the front intake processing, or in the back for injections. I sneezed,,,sumbitch I says.. the Doc just said that it would hurt my backside from the sneeze more than to him, in his jolly tone. So to all of of the negative comments and/or the ones who think they can get (the fix) passing thru their office fogetaboutit... L.W.

I couldn't believe the reviews were so low! Dr. Granberg was amazing to me! He was so kind and compassionate when I had undiagnosed pain that ended up being my SI joint out of place! I spent 2 years in horrible pain prior to surgery. He was so nice seemed genuinely concerned about where my pain was coming from. Once I found an SI joint specialist he also did the injections to confirm this was the cause. Highly recommend him!

I think everyone below is out ...

I think everyone below is out of their mind! I see Dr. Grandberg, and their staff is AMAZING! I feel terrible for what they have to deal with! The person who gives me a ride says that people in the waiting room are terrible & demanding - and I've witnessed it myself!

Dr. Granberg is a delight, Susan (the nurse practioner) has actually helped me out in ways that Dr. Granberg hasn't! She helped me find a cream for my pain.

The staff is top notch - noone better!

People don't understand that Dr. Granberg's time is accounted for every single minute (as is Dr. Kohlman's I'm sure!!) - they're doing injections (which IS surgery when it comes to sedating people!), so they really can't pull people out for every little question that you have!

This IS the best and most amazing Pain Managment place in THE state. I've been coming here fromt he beginning. I LOVE the office on Tesson Ferry, and I will NEVER go anywhere else!

Millennium deserves 100 stars...sadly, I can only give 5....

.I have had similar experiences as others on here have discussed.

Things used to be different until Dr. Coleman got his own office. Now he seems to busy to spend any time with his patients.

Dr. Coleman was a great doctor...

Dr. Coleman was a great doctor when you were ALLOWED to see him. Now you must see a "Nurse Practitioner" who thinks she can answer for the doctor. When you have an additional medical condition which the doctor needs to be aware of, and discussed with, you are STOPPED by his staff. You ask to speak with the doctor when you are there for your appointment with the Nurse Practioner (Miss- " I AM A DOCTOR IN MY OWN MIND)" and she tells you NO. You must see me only. I speak for the doctor. The staff is a cold group who believe everyone is a drug addict. They forget they are there for the good of people, to help their quality of life...yet all they do is add additional stress making your pain worse. Years ago, Dr. Coleman was the best pain mgt. doctor in town...now he makes you see a wanna-be doctor in his place (this seems to be a trend in St. Louis now, called a "Nurse Practitioner.", he does not return calls (most likely the staff does not give him the messages), or he has resolved to making all the money he can and has become a doctor who's only concern is getting rich off of people in distress. I hate to think this of Dr. Coleman, and prefer to blame the lame staff, but at this point, I recommend finding a different pain clinic. God help you if you have a new medical condition needing attention, you won't get the care you need at this location. The line-backers running the office should be in the NFL. The standard question is: What is your pain level today? No matter what number you give, your treatment is going to remain the same....so should you go there, do not expect much, if you do, you will be disappointed.

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! Millineum P...

PATIENTS BEWARE!!! Millineum Pain Management Staff is the worst I have ever encountered. The office staff is underage and not trained in any area of the medical field that I can ascertain. You will be lucky to see an actual doctor after your initial visit. The office manager commented to me that the "medication line receives over 60-90 calls a day so don't expect a return call for at least 3-5 days". I was provided a prescription for a medication I am evidently HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO. When I called the office about it - the cheerful woman who answered the phone actually told me - "I don't know what to tell ya - don't take it" and threw me into the medication line voice mail - where I should wait 3-5 days for a response . In order to speak to a human about my ALLERGIC REACTION TO MEDICATION, I had to call repeatedly and tell the staff I was going to report to the Medical Board. Then - and only then - was I allowed to speak with the office manager. I have tried to get a referral to another doctor but I was told - again by staff - "If you want to see another doctor - YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN". PLEASE PROTECT YOUR HEALTH AND DO NOT LET MILLINEUM PAIN MANAGEMENT TAKE YOUR INSURANCE MONEY. $220.00 AN OFFICE VISIT IS VERY ENTICING AND THEY BRING IN PATENTS AS FAST AS THEY CAN - BUT CARE - THERE IS NO CARE THERE AT ALL. I believe this place is a drug operation only. If you don't believe me - stop by yourself ANYTIME and take a look at the waiting room. Ask the individuals there how many are waiting just to get a signature on a prescription - and how long they have been waiting for it. You will be surprised. PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR LOVED ONES!!

Dr. Granberg is amazing, his staff is HORRID.

Dr Grandberg is a great doctor, I see him in the St. Peters office. He does everything in his power to help you and really sympathizes with you and your pain. I am very young (under 30) and have had horrible cervical disc problems. He has worked with me, very diligently to manage my pain to the best of his ability. I am currently in the middle of a round of injections.

However, any time I need to call the St. Peter's office, it's a nightmare. You must leave messages. Daily messages for 3-4 days in a row before they MIGHT call back. Unless you luck out to get someone live (usually in the morning), it's unlikely you'll get to talk to anyone. You have to hound them, because they certainly won't make an effort to assist you. I've had to call the South County office and they are a little bit more helpful, but not much. My Rx stopped working, and they told me I would have to wait until my next visit to explore other options. Great, except that was three weeks away and they couldn't move it up. "Not much they could do" was the only explanation. You are a pain management clinic for crying out loud, for being that you really stink at helping to manage pain! The only positive is when I am in the office, the staff is very kind, courteous and attentive. I've never had to wait too long in the waiting room.

Dr. Granberg really needs to look into a better office manager and training for his staff. Someone with experience in customer service. It's one thing to have this level of "service" for a non-essential office (cold and flu stuff at a typical Dr's office)... but a Pain Management Clinic? Speed and accuracy in patient service/attention is VITAL. It's a shame, because Dr. Granberg is amazing and has so much to offer in expertise. His staff does not adequately portray who he is and what he works toward.

Dr Granberg Fantastic (5Stars) - Staff Not So Much(1star)

I agree with the other reviewer concerning Dr. Granberg. In fact I am so impressed with him I deal with his horrid staff. As long as you don't need to reschedule an appt or get an early prescription they are fine. But should you need them to assist you with a canceled or rescheduled appt and all that entails watch out. If there is an opportunity and they do speak to you it is with an attitude - most of the time they skip speaking with you directly and just do what is needed and expect you to figure it out. Forget the common courtesy of a call back saying they can/can't call in your prescription and/or your appt can/can't be moved to another date you need to make the dozens of frantic calls and try to find out.

THERE IS NOT A BETTER PLACE TO BE CARED FOR. DR GRANBERG TRULY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. THERE IS NO IN OUT VISIT, HE SITS AND REALLY TALKS TO YOU AND MORE IMPORTANTLY LISTENS AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. SOMETIMES IT FEELS FUSTRATING BECAUSE HE OFTEN RUNS LATE (not as bad as most) BUT ONCE HE GETS TO YOU - YOU WILL EASILY FORGIVE.
