I went there to look at some good affordable electric guitars. I wanted to get my 12 year old son one for his birthday. Not knowing much about guitars myself I trusted that they sold good ones that had no problems. Boy was I wrong!!! Before I even got home I realized there were cracks in the paint on the back. Got it home and my son started to play it. Two strings broke right away. A few days later we took it to a guitar store known nationally. When they were restringing it they had to pull off some things so they could get the rusted part of the strings off. Then when he tried to tune it he noticed that the bridge was wrapped and bowed badly. It was barely playable!!! I was so upset when I found this out because I had trusted High and Mikes to have at least decent merchandise . We decided to go back and talk to them. First they seemed like they were fine with a trade then the owner of the store tried to insinuate that I had damaged it or my son. Granted I do not know much about guitars but I have played the violin and know how to take care of stringed instrument. I am not an expert but I do not to be ruff with them. The owner became upset when I told her that we took it to Guitar Center and had them restring it and tune it. She then proceeded that there is no way it was out of tune because she checked it herself. Im sure that the good people at Guitar Canter are way more qualified then she is at tuning guitars!! She kept insinuating that we had damaged it and that Guitar Center had no idea what they were talking about. That is when I asked for my money back so that I could go buy a real guitar and because of that she told us she would not help us and asked us to leave!!! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!! I own my own company so I do know what it takes to run one. No wonder there store is dirty and full of dust. They are lazy and incompetent. They cannot even clean there store. The only reason they are getting one star is because it made me give it at least one to post this.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The service was fast, and I felt i was treated fairly.
