Our favorite Mexican Resturant

We have been eating at Rio Grande for over twenty years and we love to go there. The atmosphere is funky, service is upbeat (we have our favorite servers). My husband orders the Smothered Burrito and I love the Carnitas Flauta Grande. Best chips and Salsa too. There is lots of parking and out door eating in the warmer months, nice and cozy in the colder times.

Worst food my family ever tasted. The chile relleno was soggy, the rice was cold and the chicken tasted like canned fish that melted in your mouth (not good). Also, the cheese in the quesadilla left a nasty after taste. The service was also poor. The only thing neat about this restaurant was the old depot bathrooms.

Good Food

The atomosphere is great, the old seats are great at the counter. The food is always good and the Nachos Grande are a delightful appetizer for a group. The food is always good and the service is outstanding.

good mexican food

Great for lunch hour. The food is good, in and out withn an hour. Always very busy, not exactly the quietest place to have lunch, but it's my choice often.

Okay

Typical mexican place with good food but nothing to write home about. The fact that it's in the old train station makes it kind of cool

Good food. Not so good ambiance

The food here is usually great. However, the atmosphere is sometimes unpleasant. Loud, cold in the winter and the place to go if you are looking for someplace for a nice quite dinner. However, dinner before a jazz game is great!
