Comfort Care has been using Cab service (like Green & Go in Corpus Christi Texas) to transport Wellmed patients for their medical needs because they can't employ enough drivers: None of the Cab drivers in this area cares to ware masks much less to get vaccinated. And despite many different excuses from Comfort Care sending unmasked cab drivers, the bottom line is they won't change when it comes Wellmed patients safety. And Wellmed corporate office doesn't want to do anything to keep their patients safe by using Comfort Care as their transportation service that uses the unvaccinated and non mask-wearing cab drivers to transport their patients after I've repeatedly reported the problem.

I have filed complaints to United Healthcare about both Comfort Care and Wellmed and heard nothing in response, that was until I called them and was informed that my complaint was resolved with Wellmed saying that they would talk to Comfort Care. That's not a resolve!

The representative at United Healthcare tried to help me with seeing if Wellmed could provide me with a different transportation service so I can get my Healthcare needs met safely during this pandemic. But Wellmed appeared unwilling to cooperate with the United Healthcare representative also. So I was informed by the United Healthcare representative that she gets several complaints regarding Comfort Care weekly. Wellmed continues to also be part of the problem and is willing to go down with Comfort Care and United Healthcare appears inept to also do anything about it.

I have attempted to file a complaint at Medicare Quality of Care Department in regards of both Wellmed, Comfort Care, and AARP - United Healthcare but their solution is to talk with Wellmed aslo on a three-way conference call with me on the phone. Been there, done that a few times with the United Healthcare representatives, Wellmed. So now, the only recourse left is to change my insurance provider and make my experience known.

Good for pickup, not good for return. The wait is very long, to even get a operator and it take forever to be picked up.

I used Comfortcare Transport today. Driver apologized for being 15 minutes early, but I was ready. She opened the car door and fastened the seatbelt for me. On arrival at my destination she exited the vehicle and opened my door, walked with me and pressed the automatic door opener, took me in the building, up the elevator and to the reception desk. I reached out to shake her hand but got a hug instead. I'm quite capable for my age (83) and was pleasantly surprise with the great service. My return trip home was equally pleasant. I was happy the driver came up to the 5th floor for me so I didn't have to wait in the lobby. All this great service is free. What more can you expect?

You might want to teach your drivers that they are not immune to stop signs - especially when transporting NO ONE. I saw one of your vans this morning run not one but TWO stop signs just because it would have taken too long to come to a complete stop. This included cutting off a vehichle who was trying to take their legal turn.
