Awful - Poor Workmanship - Had to Hire Another Pool Company to Make Repairs

Very difficult process from start to finish with lots of extra surprise charges that were never approved. Unprofessional work and pool leaked right away after completion in December 2019, they dug up the back of the pool and tried to fix, but seemed to have just gobbed a lot of silicone sealant to try to get it to hold when closing for winter. When we opened the pool this spring it still had back-fill gravel in the bottom and was muddy - the copy opening the pool said it wasn't properly winterized when Davenport closed it. As the water leaked out we could see the return on the deep end was installed at an angle and not flush with the pool - just smeared with a thick layer of clear silicone caulk. We went though tens of thousands of gallons of water from unknown leak as the autofill tried to keep up the pool level (we have the water bills to prove it). Even with the autofill and an extra hose running we could not maintain the water level. The pool eventually drained to the main drains at the bottom and when we had a plumber inspect he confirmed that one of the drains was partially disconnected and held in place with a very thick layer of clear silicone caulk inside and around it. We hired another pool company to repair since we had lost all faith in Davenport and when they cut through the concrete and excavated to the pipes we could see though the clear silicone around the drain from the back of the pool and the line was leaking at two connectors. The waterfall line was also leaking underground. We had a plumber run a camera through the line to inspect and there were couplings underground that were unglued and leaking. Other couplings had been glued during the rain and the glue washed away in sections causing leaks. Connectors at the pool equipment were not glued at all. We ended up having to dig up and replace the entire water lines for both the drains/skimmer and the waterfall from the equipment to the deep end of the pool - about 80 ft each. The equipment had to be repiped and several joints there were not glued, some had solvent but no glue. Proper clear pool check valves were not used - just white indoor PVC. I was assured that the lines had been pressure tested and there were no leaks, but that would not be possible with unsealed lines. The box for the pool cover to roll up into was not installed properly and the coverer was not sized properly and screwed down into place on each corner rather than installed with a section over the motor that can be opened and over the cover that can be opened for cleaning. In addition it bows up now that its warm weather and has a 2 to 4 inch gap between it and the concrete deck. Also, the concrete deck has multiple cracks forming in it, and a huge crack on one side that runs about 20 ft in a half-circle. Gas lines for our 2 fire features and pool patio were installed with yellow underground gas line terminated up through the concrete against code and unsealed. A plumber had to break the concrete around the lines and install a proper underground to above ground transition and seal the lines. This is when we discovered that the concrete was actually less than 2 inches thick around the firepit gas pipe, which is were the huge crack has formed around that entire section. This pool installation was a nightmare and the repair costs to get it running properly have been enormous. We will still likely have to bust up and replace the entire concrete deck. We started the process in mid-2019 and the pool was finally "completed" in December 2019 but since attempting to open in March we have had ongoing repair work to get it to hold water and run properly - and we still have another couple months or so of repair work to continue for the concrete and pool cover. I wish I could post pictures since most people probably won't believe a pool building experience could go this bad.
