When we moved in to our apartment here at Lilac Plaza we were not sure this was the place for us. From the first day here we feel like this is home. There are a lot of things to do here, exercise room, library, computer room, card games, bingo. The other people here are quite friendly. The staff here at Lilac Plaza are caring people, They are always ready to help if you have problems. There is a service coordinator, a nurse in the wellness center, many office people who do a lot more than paperwork. All the people who work here are professional as well as nice.On Sunday we have Vespers at 5. Also there are other religious services. We have a dining room, plus an internet café next door. There is a bus, certain days they do a grocery run. The buses are also used for trips. (To Wolf Creek Lodge, The Gaither concert, the Olive Garden, to name a few.) The city bus has a stop just out in front also. Now that I have gone on and on and probably have not told all that we have here. Let me tell you this. Living at Lilac Plaza is just what we wanted. This is a community of people living together separately, but also together. We have only been here since April but we have real friends here, and I am glad to say we are home.
