I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Stabley. I came down from NY when my father became ill. Other doctors dismissed my father's chances but Dr. Stabley listened to us when we described improvements my father had made, and tested him further, keeping an open mind. He was compassionate and seemed to genuinely care. I highly recommend him.

I had to reply to recent review who spewed the worst things to say about a physician. I came across the review just looking for the phone number and could not believe what I read. I have seen Dr. Stabley at least a dozen times and as a female, have only experienced one of the most caring, professional physician and staff in the area. He actually talks to you face to face, LISTENS, appears concerned and followed up and ordered testing in a timely manner. I am not related in any way to him or anyone in his office. If anyone had that bad of an experience as they described, I can only say they should double check they are reviewing the correct physician. I experienced none of this and have only heard positive things from every person who has seen him and from other physicians who highly regard his knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I do not usually write reviews, but I could not let this slide. He is, in my opinion, one of the most caring neurologists in the area. There was never a spark of rudeness from anyone in his office in all of my visits.

As a medical provider I was appalled at Dr.Stabley's poor attitude, arrogance, asked questions but didn't listen to any response, etc... It was a demeaning experience & he was beyond rude & nasty. I heard other complaints recently about his behavior but had met him years ago & thought possibly the complaints were personal or exaggerated (although all similar). I wouldn't give him one star but had to mark something. I would avoid him and chose the Martin Memorial Group w Dr.Cerbone or ask for other neurologists in the area. I wouldn't suggest him to anyone!! I have been treated w abruptness by other doctors but he was a truly arrogant , angry, rude, uncaring, short man with a big chip on his shoulder. Years ago I felt he was brilliant & kind but whatever occurred to him doesn't justify his treatment of patients. Those that had complained prior to my visit used almost the same wording to describe him. Regardless of his knowledge, he shouldn't be a physician dealing w patients. And since my poor experience I've heard many more complaints from men & women. All have felt that he was arrogant, spoke to them like they were idiots & were insulted by the experience. I've never complained about another medical professional and honestly was shocked at such a negative experience .
