Great all-around restaurant for family or friend outing. Good variety and quality. Love the live music in patio in Summer!

I love this place! Took my friend Louis Blanc for dinner, we both had the delicious steak! 10/10 would come again!!

Where do I start? Took my wife out for a special night and made the mistake of going to this place. Nice atmosphere and waitstaff, but it is really loud inside! The mixed drinks were watered down to nothing, the French onion soup had no flavor and my very over priced steak meal was way under cooked (at the suggestion of my waitress)! The house salad was ok but not worth the extra money that they charged me.

My wife had the cod and she said it had no flavor. We both had the cheesy hash browns which were nice and hot, but lacked any taste whatsoever!

All in all, a very disappointing meal in a very loud dining environment. I suggest you go elsewhere for fish and steak, especially at these outrageous prices!!!

Way Overpriced

And the food is too salty, service is decent but you are charged gratuity up front. So you can't really tip based on the service you get. The dinner menu is very limited and way way overpriced , I've gotten better food in Chicago Madison and Milwaukee at the same price. Not worth the drive for sure

My husband and I love stopping...

My husband and I love stopping at Buck & Honeys for a meal. They have a lot of menu options to choose from and the food is always great! We've never been disappointed by what we order. They also have live music a couple nights a week, which is so much fun!

Dined at Buck & Honeys Sat. 5/21/11. Both the hostess & the waitress were overbearing. Hostess too chummy & went on & on. Waitress interrupted conversation several times. Two of us had fish tacos, which were bland. Tables too close together. Loud in there. Children crying. Can go to Applebys & get the same effect. I would go once more to try the pizza, but maybe not on a Sat. night.

we visited bauck and honeys on saturday night nov.13 and we were very disapointed in the sevice and food, my wife ordered the bucks chicken the is covered in bbq sauce and bacon and provolone cheese and it was dry , very dry and burnt, the first taste was awful we waited for the waitress to come by but all she would do is say is everything ok and fly by, she could see the plate and should could of said is the chicken ok, but no, also the aparagrass was so hard all you could eat is the tips, i was talk as i used to be a cooks that you should soak it in salt water over night or day and then place it on the grill and it will be tender and flavorable, i had ordered the killer burger and it was ok but it was smaller then the quater pounder i say, if it says killer it should show killer, i am sorry for this comment but we live so close and would like to keep coming to you place but we were very dissapointed. thank you....

Dined last night (Friday 11/5)....place was PACKED/50 minute wait!! Meal was well worth it, though. I had the 5oz fillet-- tender with great flavor and the garlic mashed potatoes to die for. Hubby had the ribeye and said it was very good also. I had fresh fruit, which was just that, but was fresh and cold. He had asparagus and said it was amazing. French onion soup good but not great........broth could have been a little richer. Hubby said the (homemade) ranch dressing was excellent. We had dessert--me the the brownie/ice cream and he the chocolate cheesecake. Brownie was unremarkable, but the ice cream (from Sassy Cow) was fabulous. He said the cheesecake was awesome. Waiter (Zach) was excellent. Overall--excellent. Only minor complaints--we didn't get any kind of bread ; with a $20 meal you should. You get 2 sides with entree, but salad is not a choice for side..... must add for $2. It was a bit cold in the "atrium" where we were seated. We will definitely return!!

This place is VERY welcome in Sun Prairie. Tried it last night, my ribeye and french onion soup were very good, calamari as well. Two in our party split an excellent pizza, the other two enjoyed the shrimp dinner. Very reasonably priced, nice ambiance. Service was excellent. Very nice to have an alternative to driving in to Madison.
