Went to this Petsmart in search of food for mbuna cichlids. With the exception of algae wafers, I found nothing healthful for these fish. Further, about one third of the fish food bins were empty, reflecting a major stocking problem. From what I can tell, all Petsmarts in the metro area of a million people have stopped selling spirulina flakes recommended for mbuna. Also, none of the stores carries the recommended NLS Thera-A food for mbuna. Strangely, four Petsmarts I have visited in the past three months carry several tanks of mbuna for sale. Why sell these fish if you are not going to carry the proper diet for them?
