It's always a plus to have someone give you the customer care you need. Great location to to tan or use the beds for the heat.

Its really nice when you walk in and the employees greet you by name and make you feel so welcomed when going in to tan. the Lewis location is great.

Would recommend tanning here to anyone! Pricing is very affordable and the beds they have are top of the line. I've tanned here off and on all through high school and have always loved my results!

I agree to the positive comments shared by other's. I have been using ATB off and on for many years. I started by paying month to month then thanks to the wisdom and exceptional service I was convinced that paying monthly was too much!! I.bought my first membership from an employee Shane, he educated me on all the different beds and the purpose of all the different product's, including the difference between step 1 & 2's and of course step 3 that they sell to their customers, this was 4 years ago and I believe Shane is still employed but he is now at a district management level, that shows me ATB must take care of their good employees. I will admit over the year's I have come across many bad apples as reported by other members but luckily they never make it and are gone pretty quick. I believe the prices are comparable to other salon's I have visited on different occasions, and they often run specials or discounts on most of their products. So my opinion is if you like tanning and want to sign up for a contract which varies from tanning, exercise and spray tanning and like to be acknowledged by your first name every time you walk thru their door and always greeted by a friendly and educated staff member then you need to at least visit ATB to see for yourself. I am one who never writes any reviews or take the time to read other's, but this time I did and wanted to say thank you ATB for many year's of an enjoyable tanning experience, it is the one 15 minute retreat I do look forward to 1-2 time's a week.

Little overpriced, constantly trying to push overpriced lotions. Staff always seemed to be overworked and underpaid, may explain employee turnover.

First of all, can we say overpriced! Geez.From the minute I walked in the door, I was badgered! I could barely get out of that place. High pressure, long contracts, and horrible customer service! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

I called last week to get the exact date of my contract ending and the staff told me it is May 2nd 2009. To my surprise I checked my account and they withdrew money again after the contract date. I called and again and they said "oh, well if you don't come in and really end the contract it automatically restarts the contract on a monthly basis. The staff did not tell me this in the first phone call. They are the worst company I have dealt with! When a contract ends it should end! I will never recommend this company and will take my business elsewhere....I have been waiting to do this for 3 binding years!!!

This is the worst business that I have ever dealth with! They engage in high pressure sales tactics and tell you anything you want to hear to get a signed contract. I would discourage anyone from using At The Beach!They even charged my credit card an unauthorized $109 when I recieved NO services. I was merely in the store leting my daughter tan and inquiring as to a one-time session for her friend. The clerk would not allow the friend to tan, but apparently, he was working on commission and needed to pad his check!

This company will do ALL they can to PRESSURE you into a legallybinding contract for an EXTENDED duration of time, and will NOT letyou cancel your contract EVEN if you had a severe medicalemergency. Despite letters from a professional doctor taking careof me, they have sent my bill to a credit collection agency. Theyare the epitome of unethical, unmoral, greedy, and insidious businesspractices. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against thiscompany, and I strongly advise everyone to not only avoid this companyat all costs but also tell EVERYONE you know who is looking for atanning place to NEVER step in the door here. It is similar to aused car dealership -- they will do all they can to get you to sign acontract without going over every little detail. They are clearlydeceiving the consumer. Not only that, but in the event that youmay be very injured on the job or suffer an extreme mental illnessthat requires hospitalization they will STILL not let you cancel.
