I would rate it at one half of a star if I could. There was never enough staff. They were always trying to play catch-up to fix problems. One thing would get better another would get worse. Then the washing machine broke and laundry pile up because they couldn't buy a new one

Can never get anyone to answer the phone...it rings and rings and rings to the point where the fax machine picks up as I attempt for the 3rd time to reach someone at this facility as I type this review! I am attempting to reach them for patient information for continued treatment from a physician specialty office.

do NOT put your family member in this place! the second day my family member was in there, she fell out of the bed cause there were no bedrails.

also, since the incident happened over the weekend, she couldn't be seen by the doctor until maybe monday(or whenever he showed up). i showed up unannounced and demanded she be taken for x-rays on sunday--its thursday, she's still in the hospital undergoing more tests and x-rays.

BTW, the bedrails went up after she was placed back in the bed. NO, she isn't going back.

I love this home. Both my parents were there at separate times. My father passed there in 1994 he was only there a short time but they treated him with dignity and respect. In my Mothers later years she asked to go there. We put my Mom in and her nursing staff was wonderful. She also passed there at the home. I was there once or twice a week and my brother as well to visit they all knew us. I run a karaoke system so I started entertaining once a month at their all resident Birthday Party. I quit when my Mom passed in 06 I have seriously been thinking of going back and volunteering once a month again.The hospital Administators at the time were very helpful and courteous.

My husband is in this nursing home and we sure love the way they treat him, and us as a couple. The nursing staff is WONDERFUL and the food is good and they know me by name when i come in there, usually every day and they are really good and patient and understanding with any types of concerns that we may have ever had. I was hesitant of putting my husband in any nursing home but when the time came, I chose this one because of the feeling I got when I walked thru the door, friendly, caring and its clean! This place DOES NOT smell! I was shocked! I dont like having to have my husband in a nursing home but glad that I chose this one, makes it much easier to leave him at the end of the day because I know that he will be getting great care and I dont have to worry about him at all, or I worry less, MUCH LESS! I Love you all! Thank you for what you do and I am thankful for each of you!

rude staff and director, incompetent care, bad smell constantly, patient had bedsore which got worse and worse, hygiene care lacking, patient fell and had to go to er with gash on head because left alone in the shower when non ambulatory, patient dehydrated to the point of renal failure - had to be hospitalized, patient fell and broke hip - hospitalized again...finally got so weak that a feeding tube was needed. Sometimes staff would forget to plug it back in after they turned it off for some reason. Patient told to just go in his diaper while he was still ambulatory with help, because it was just easier that way. Family theatened with eviction of patient by the director if they kept complaining about lack of care.
