They just finished my 1911 thumb safety. They did a great job and turn around time was two days. The gun looks great and, unlike other gun smiths in town, they actually have parts in stock for a 1911. Plus they cost less to do the work. They seemed to have a friendly staff that is eager to help and courteous. Thanks barlows.

Horrible customer service. Was told a 5-7 business day turn around for 3 guns. They had the guns for 2 months before I took them back. Should have read the other reviews. They even told me that a barrel was in the process of being threaded, yet they were able to grab it right off the bat when I finally got sick of the lies.

let me put it this way, there is a certain pretentious fog that rests over some of the firearms community. Some of you may have noticed when you were novices just trying to get into the sport, whether it be hunting or recreational shooting, many of the stores take a holier than thou stance, making it almost embarrassing to ask questions. Barlow's takes it to a whole new level of stuck up, pretentiousness. They are up so high on their high horse you can barely hear what they are shouting down at you. I am 23 year veteran in the shooting scene and they still treated me like a child who had wandered in unattended. don't waste your time, go to Gallenson's in Salt Lake, or order online before you talk to these jokers.
