Dr Amar has been the best, caring and compassionate surgeon I have dealt with through my (now) five spinal surgeries to date. He listens to his patients and considers all aspects of their situation while providing exceptional care and surgical intervention when needed. I couldn't be more thrilled with the care I have received nor the results from my cervical fusion surgery he completed. Thank you Dr Amar!

The doctor was amazing and my surgery was great.

Dr. was a great listener and took the time to hear my concerns and explained in detail the healing process with the spine surgery I had done. Knowing what to expect makes a difference as a patient. I was treated as a peraon and not a number.

Extremely happy with Dr. Amar as well as the office staff. Dr. Amar explains everything thoroughly and has great bed side manners. The appointments were all on time which is a plus.

My overall experience was very positive. From the outset, Dr. Amar was attentive to the issues and pain that I was experiencing. He quickly diagnosed and explained why I was feeling discomfort in my back and tingling/numbness in my leg. He walked me through the entire process of the surgery and was able to schedule me quickly. On the day of the surgery the medical staff and Dr. Amar ensured that I understood everything that was going to happen during the surgery and post-surgery, and provided guidance on behavior after the surgery. For a back surgery, it was a positive experience.

Dr. Amar clearly explained the pros and cons of surgery to me. He and his staff made sure I was 100% ready for the surgery and all the associated recovery. I truly enjoyed their care and individual approach which is hard to find in a Miami area doctor in my opinion. I am active duty Navy, I highly recommend Dr. Amar and his staff to my fellow service members and anyone else looking to be taken care of in the best way possible.

I have been seen by Dr Amar for radiating pain going down my right leg that has been ongoing. After MRI and consultation I decided on surgery to relieve back and leg pain. Dr Amar was very informative about the outcome of surgery and took time to answer my questions. My recovery has been as expected. I have been seeing Dr Amar from the recommendation of my husband and his previous surgeries by this doctor and now would highly reccommend him myself.

I came to see Dr Amar for lower chronic lower back pain and it was determined that I needed an L5 S1 microdiskectomy. The actual procedure was a success and I can say that my pain is gone. Dr Amar and his staff are excellent at what they do and I couldn't be happier.
